Porbandar, October 10, 2024 – The Indian Red Cross Society, Porbandar District Branch, is getting on a new chapter of social service. The organization is organizing an essential comprehensive medical camp on Saturday, October 11, 2025, to enhance community health and provide access to quality medical services.
This camp will be held at Dr. V.R. Godhania College, Porbandar, where expert doctors from AIIMS Hospital, Rajkot, will collaborate. At the camp, medical specialists from AIIMS will provide free medical check-ups, consultations, and treatments. Patients will also receive free medicines, laboratory tests, and X-ray facilities.
This camp aims to deliver quality healthcare services to all sections of society, especially people experiencing poverty and the middle class. Shri Ramdevbhai Modhwadia, founder of Health Education and Charitable Trust, stated, “This initiative is a part of our continuous efforts in social service and health awareness. We aim to provide high-level medical facilities to people without them having to leave the city.”
The medical camp will run 8:30 AM onwards. Citizens of Porbandar and surrounding villages can avail themselves of this golden opportunity. Through this camp, people will receive guidance for diagnosing their health-related issues and timely treatment.
