Health Education and Charitable Trust (HEACT), founded in 2006, has been serving the Porbandar community for 18+ years. Registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, we deliver mobile healthcare services, offering free medical camps, ambulance support, and life-saving treatments to underserved populations. Our dedicated team of 200+ volunteers constructs community halls, libraries, and sports facilities and also implements skill-based youth training programs.
Through our flagship ‘Green Porbandar’ initiative, we have successfully planted 8,000+ trees to promote environmental sustainability. With partnership with the Indian Red Cross Society, we provide robust disaster response and blood donation services. Our team works with compassion and transparency to drive holistic development. We transform lives through health, education and community empowerment across Porbandar.
Shri Ramdevbhai Modhwadia
Shri Ramdevbhai Modhwadia is a founder of Health Education and Charitable Trust. Being a dedicated social leader, he served Porbandar for over 19 years. As President of the Indian Red Cross Society’s local branch and Chairman of the State Disaster Management Committee, he leads initiatives in healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, and disaster response. The Trust has organized medical camps under his leadership and planted 8,000+ trees under his guidance. Mr. Modhwadia inspires volunteers and drives community development.

Health Education and Charitable Trust (HEACT) serves communities through practical, hands-on support. We operate mobile health clinics that provide free check-ups, medicines, and treatments in rural and underserved areas. Our volunteers regularly conduct health camps and blood donation camps for urgent medical requirements. HEACT also focuses on education and skill-building for youth through training programs and community libraries. Our environmental work includes tree plantation and maintaining green spaces across Porbandar. We also work with the Red Cross to provide quick relief and support during disaster time.
